Introduction
Our client is a specialty veterinary hospital seeking a Veterinary Cardiologist (Board Certified or Board Eligible) to join their dedicated team in Charlotte, North Carolina. This full-service referral and emergency hospital provides advanced care for a wide range of companion animals and offers a highly collaborative, specialist-led environment.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, ensuring round-the-clock emergency and specialty care. Working hours for the Cardiologist will be arranged with flexibility to support work-life balance. This is a full-time position.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Veterinary Cardiologist will provide advanced diagnostics, treatment, and ongoing management for patients with cardiovascular conditions. Working alongside other specialists and emergency clinicians, the role involves a collaborative approach to case management while delivering the highest standard of care. Responsibilities include working with cutting-edge technology, performing advanced diagnostics, and contributing to the hospital’s referral-based caseload. This position is open to both Board Certified and Board Eligible Cardiologists.

Practice Details
The facility is state-of-the-art, equipped with Snyder Intensive Care Units, in-house laboratories, SurgiVet multi-parameter monitoring, high-resolution ultrasound, digital radiography, a 1.5 Tesla GE MRI scanner, a 128-slice CT scanner, and a Varian Linear Accelerator with SRT and IMRT capabilities. Additional services include endoscopy, bronchoscopy, and advanced orthopedic procedures such as patella groove replacement and total micro hip replacement. The practice emphasizes collaboration, continuing education, and access to the latest medical technologies.

Team
The Charlotte hospital includes five board-certified specialists supported by a team of experienced emergency veterinarians and highly trained support staff. The environment is collaborative, team-oriented, and focused on delivering outstanding patient care while fostering professional growth.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
