Introduction
Our client is a 24-hour emergency and specialty hospital seeking a board-certified or residency-trained Cardiologist to join its multidisciplinary team. This hospital provides advanced care for canine and feline patients and is home to over 19 veterinarians, including specialists in Internal Medicine, Surgery, Neurology, Emergency & Critical Care, Radiology, Oncology, Ophthalmology, Dermatology, and Anesthesia.

Working Hours / Rota
This position offers flexibility for either full-time or part-time availability. The hospital operates Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM and on Saturdays from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM, with the facility closed on Sundays. As a 24/7 emergency and specialty center, scheduling can be tailored to meet the needs of the cardiology service and the selected candidate.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Cardiologist will diagnose and manage a wide range of cardiac conditions and provide advanced diagnostics and treatment plans in collaboration with a large network of specialists. This role involves interpreting imaging and diagnostic tests such as echocardiograms and EKGs, formulating long-term treatment plans, and supporting hospitalized patients with cardiac concerns. The position is open to board-certified or residency-trained candidates.

Practice Details
The hospital spans 26,000 square feet and is undergoing a 16,000-square-foot expansion. It is AAHA-accredited and supports a strong rotating internship program. Equipment and facilities include a 1.5T MRI, three ultrasound units, a 16-slice CT scanner, fluoroscopy, digital radiography, endoscopy, HBOT, laser therapy, and a Halcyon linear accelerator. Services offered include advanced care in cardiology, oncology, neurology, surgery, internal medicine, and more, as well as comprehensive diagnostics, preventive care, and emergency services.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
