Our client is a specialty and emergency veterinary hospital seeking a skilled Veterinary Cardiologist to join their established and growing team in the suburban Philadelphia area. This position offers the opportunity to practice advanced cardiology within a collaborative, referral-based environment known for its excellence in specialty medicine and comprehensive patient care.

Working Hours / Rota
This is a full-time role within a busy specialty practice, offering a structured schedule supported by a dedicated team of specialists, emergency clinicians, and skilled technical staff. The hospital maintains extended operating hours to ensure continuity of care and work-life balance for its clinical team.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Veterinary Cardiologist will perform and interpret advanced cardiac diagnostics, including echocardiography and electrocardiography, and manage both acute and chronic cardiac conditions. Collaboration with specialists in internal medicine, radiology, surgery, oncology, and critical care ensures a comprehensive, team-based approach to each case. This position is open to board-certified or residency-trained veterinarians, with strong opportunities for professional growth and interdisciplinary collaboration.

Practice Details
Since 1986, the hospital has been a leading center for specialty and emergency veterinary medicine in the region. The facility is equipped with MRI, CT, digital radiography, ultrasound, and other advanced diagnostic technology, supporting excellence across multiple departments. The hospital offers a wide range of services, including internal medicine, cardiology, oncology, ophthalmology, neurology and neurosurgery, dermatology, rehabilitation, reproduction, and surgery, along with primary care and wellness services. The practice culture emphasizes clinical collaboration, innovation, and quality medicine in a supportive environment.

Team
The hospital team includes 24 DVMs, supported by a large, experienced group of technicians and administrative staff. The workplace fosters a collaborative and mentoring-focused culture, allowing specialists to share expertise and deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
