Introduction
Our client is a hospital hiring a Veterinary Anesthesiologist to join an emergency and specialty practice providing care to cats and dogs. The hospital is seeking an experienced, board-certified or residency-trained anesthesiologist to deliver advanced anesthesia and pain management within a collaborative, multi-disciplinary environment. The position offers flexibility with both full-time and part-time options available.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The role focuses on anesthesia and pain management across a wide range of procedures, including developing and implementing individualized anesthetic and analgesic protocols. Responsibilities include providing perioperative patient care, ensuring patient safety and optimal outcomes, collaborating closely with surgical and specialty teams, and supporting technicians and clinical staff in anesthesia best practices. The role also involves contributing to the development of hospital protocols and maintaining high standards of care. This position is suited to experienced veterinarians.

Practice Details
Our client is a growing emergency and specialty hospital offering a wide range of services including cardiology, dentistry, dermatology, diagnostic imaging, internal medicine, neurology, oncology, regenerative medicine, sports medicine and rehabilitation, surgery, and radioactive iodine therapy. The hospital operates emergency services 24/7/365, with surgical and specialty appointment hours from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday to Friday. The practice is preparing to transition into a new 42,000 square foot state-of-the-art facility, designed to support advanced medical care and enhance patient outcomes. The culture emphasizes collaboration, innovation, and compassionate care, with a strong focus on supporting specialists and advancing veterinary medicine.

Team
The team consists of 32 DVMs supported by a great tenured support team. The environment is highly collaborative, with specialists and emergency clinicians working together to provide integrated, high-quality patient care.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
