Introduction
Our client is a hospital providing emergency, general medicine, and surgical services, seeking an Urgent Care Veterinarian to join their team. This is an opportunity to work in a well-supported, AAHA accredited environment delivering high-quality care to dogs and cats.

Working Hours / Rota
This role offers full-time or part-time flexibility. The hospital operates Monday to Friday from 7:00 am to 8:00 pm, Saturday from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm, and is closed on Sundays, with weekend coverage included as part of the rota.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Urgent Care Veterinarian will be responsible for managing urgent and emergency cases, including diagnosing and treating acute conditions, performing emergency procedures, and developing treatment plans. The role involves interpreting diagnostic results, utilizing advanced medical equipment, and collaborating closely with the wider veterinary team. Strong client communication is essential, ensuring pet owners are informed on treatment options and care plans. This position is suited to an experienced veterinarian.

Practice Details
Established in 1969, this AAHA accredited hospital provides a full range of emergency, general medicine, and surgical services for dogs and cats. The facility is equipped with advanced technology including digital radiology, ultrasound, EKG, tonopen, and in-house laboratory and pharmacy, as well as an in-office surgical suite, isolation ward, and intensive care capabilities. Services include advanced dental care, bone and joint surgery, soft tissue surgery, dermatology, ophthalmology, preventive care, vaccinations, wellness exams, internal medicine, emergency care, hospitalization, oxygen and transfusion therapy, and pain management. The hospital emphasizes high-quality, compassionate care within a collaborative and well-supported environment.

Team
The team consists of 7 DVMs and a great tenured support team, creating a collaborative and supportive workplace.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
