Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a veterinary hospital seeking an Urgent Care Veterinarian to join their team on either a full-time or part-time basis. The hospital provides care for dogs and cats and has been serving the community since 1969, earning a trusted reputation for delivering top-notch veterinary care.

Role Description and Responsibilities
As an Urgent Care Veterinarian, you will be responsible for maintaining a high standard of patient care while treating and diagnosing patients in an urgent care setting. The role also includes performing surgeries and dental procedures while building strong relationships with clients through excellent communication. The hospital is open to discussing working schedules to suit the successful candidate. Applications are welcomed from both experienced veterinarians and students, with mentorship available to support professional development.

Practice Details
The hospital is open Monday to Friday from 7:00 am to 8:00 pm and Saturdays from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm. It is AAHA accredited and offers a range of services including dental care, orthopaedic surgery, cold laser therapy, dermatology, soft tissue surgery, and preventative medicine. The practice is equipped with digital X-ray, dental X-ray, and a surgical suite to support the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Team
The team consists of seven DVMs supported by an excellent team of support staff who work collaboratively to provide outstanding care for their patients.

Candidate Requirements 

  • Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
  • Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
  • Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
