Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a hospital seeking a dedicated Urgent Care Veterinarian to join their team in Tampa, FL. This is a state-of-the-art facility focused on delivering immediate, high-quality care to dogs and cats in urgent situations. The hospital is looking to hire either a full-time or part-time veterinarian to support their mission-driven service model and continue offering top-tier care to the local community.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open for urgent care services Monday, Thursday, and Friday from 11:00 AM to 10:00 PM, and Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM. The hospital is closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Scheduling is flexible, with both full-time and part-time opportunities available.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Urgent Care Veterinarian will handle all aspects of urgent care, managing a wide variety of cases that require prompt and efficient medical attention. This includes overseeing diagnostics, creating treatment plans, and leading a skilled team through fast-paced clinical scenarios. The role is open to both experienced veterinarians and recent graduates, offering an opportunity to practice meaningful medicine in a supportive and collaborative environment.

Candidate Requirements 

  • Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
  • Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
  • Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
