Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a walk-in veterinary clinic in Tucson, Arizona, hiring for a Part-Time Urgent Care Veterinarian to provide after-hours care for cats and dogs. The clinic offers same-day, affordable services designed to bridge the gap between general practice and emergency care.

Working Hours / Rota
This is a part-time, onsite position with flexible scheduling. The clinic operates from 3 PM to 11 PM on weekdays, 10 AM to 8 PM on weekends, and 12 PM to 8 PM on holidays.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Urgent Care Veterinarian will manage non-life-threatening cases such as minor injuries, gastrointestinal issues, and wound care. Responsibilities include conducting examinations, diagnosing conditions, developing treatment plans, and performing minor procedures. The role focuses on providing prompt, compassionate care in a fast-paced environment.

Practice Details
The clinic is equipped with digital X-ray, FAST ultrasound capabilities, and an in-house lab. It features private, fear-free exam rooms and utilizes cloud-based medical record-keeping to ensure efficient and timely care.

Team
The veterinary team includes experienced doctors and a skilled support staff. The culture encourages collaboration, mentorship, and work-life balance, fostering a positive and professional atmosphere.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
