Introduction
Our client is a hospital seeking a part-time Urgent Care Veterinarian to join their brand-new, state-of-the-art urgent care facility. This modern practice provides high-quality urgent care services for companion animals and is ideal for an experienced veterinarian looking to step beyond general practice without the demands of a full emergency setting or overnight shifts.

Working Hours / Rota
This is a part-time position. The hospital operates Monday through Friday from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM and Saturday through Sunday from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM. No overnight shifts are required.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Urgent Care Veterinarian will manage a range of urgent cases including minor injuries and sudden illnesses, delivering prompt and effective medical care. Clinical responsibilities include examinations, diagnostics, medical case management, and surgical procedures as needed within an urgent care setting. The role requires confident clinical decision-making, strong client communication, and collaboration with the support team to ensure a compassionate and efficient patient experience. This position is suited to an experienced veterinarian with an interest in urgent care medicine.

This is a brand-new, state-of-the-art urgent care facility designed to deliver high-quality care in a welcoming and efficient environment. The hospital is equipped to provide urgent care services, surgery, and in-house diagnostics. The practice emphasizes advanced veterinary expertise paired with compassion, ensuring pets receive both effective treatment and a comforting experience during stressful situations.

The hospital currently has 2 DVMs and a great tenured support team, fostering a collaborative environment with a dedicated partner doctor and a culture focused on growth, teamwork, and patient-centered care.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
