Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a brand-new urgent care veterinary clinic seeking a full-time Urgent Care Veterinarian to join its team ahead of its planned opening in June 2027. The clinic will provide urgent veterinary care designed to bridge the gap between primary and emergency care, with a modern environment focused on delivering high-quality medicine. The position offers medical autonomy alongside business and operational support, with flexible scheduling and no overnight shifts.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Urgent Care Veterinarian will provide high-quality veterinary medicine within an urgent care setting, helping to manage cases that fall between traditional primary care and emergency medicine. The veterinarian will have autonomy over medical decision-making while working within a collaborative clinic environment. The role also requires an experienced and compassionate veterinarian who is comfortable helping to manage a team, contributing to a positive clinic culture, communicating effectively, and supporting and mentoring other veterinarians in the delivery of high-quality medicine. Candidates are required to have at least five years of veterinary experience.

Practice Details
The clinic is a brand-new, state-of-the-art facility scheduled to open in June 2027. The building will provide modern equipment, space, and resources to support the delivery of urgent veterinary care and is being developed specifically to help bridge the gap between primary and emergency services. Veterinarians will have medical autonomy, alongside access to business support and a DVM mentor network. Flexible scheduling is available with no overnight shifts.

Team
The incoming veterinarian will play a role in helping to establish a positive and collaborative culture within the new clinic. The position involves working as part of the team while also providing leadership and mentorship to other veterinarians, with an emphasis on effective communication and maintaining high standards of veterinary medicine.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
