Job Description
Introduction
Our client is a state-of-the-art hospital seeking an urgent care veterinarian to join their team. This position involves working with a range of species in a modern, fully equipped environment, providing top-notch care for a variety of medical needs.
Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday to Friday from 9am to 10pm, and Saturday to Sunday from 11am to 6pm. The ideal schedule for this full-time role would be four weekdays with rotating Saturdays, totaling approximately 28 scheduled clinical hours across four 7-hour shifts. Specific doctor hours are open to discussion.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The role involves full GP responsibilities, delivering high-quality veterinary care across a broad range of cases.
Practice Details
This is a 100% paperless, state-of-the-art hospital offering top-notch care. Services include treatment for minor lacerations, wounds or burns, skin or nail problems, asthma or allergic reactions, diagnostic labs, wellness services, imaging, pharmacy, and euthanasia.
Team
The hospital’s team includes 2 DVMs supported by a tenured support staff, fostering a stable and experienced working environment.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
