Introduction
Our client is a hospital that is hiring an Urgent Care Veterinarian on either a full-time or part-time basis. Caring for cats and dogs, this well-established, full-service general practice hospital also offers evening urgent care services and is looking to expand these services further. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced urgent care veterinarian to join a growing service and play a key role in its continued development.

Role Description and Responsibilities
This role involves the full scope of Urgent Care Veterinarian responsibilities, providing prompt assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for non-routine and urgent medical cases during evening shifts. The position is open to experienced veterinarians only, with candidates expected to be confident managing a varied urgent care caseload and making sound clinical decisions in a fast-paced environment. As the hospital continues to expand its urgent care offering, this role provides the opportunity to help shape and grow the service while working alongside a supportive team.

Practice Details
The hospital is open Monday to Friday from 8:00am to 12:00am and Saturday and Sunday from 10:00am to 12:00am. Services include a full scope of urgent care, providing a diverse and rewarding caseload alongside the hospital’s general practice services. The hospital is equipped with, but not limited to, an In-House Laboratory, Ultrasound, Digital X-Ray, and Digital Dental X-Ray, supporting efficient diagnostics and patient care.

Team
You will be joining a team of 3 DVMs supported by dedicated veterinary technicians and client service professionals who share a commitment to patient-centered, compassionate care. The hospital is led by a supportive leadership team focused on the success and well-being of its associates, fostering a collaborative culture built on teamwork, communication, and professional growth.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
