Job Description

This privately owned clinic is looking for an Urgent Care Veterinarian to join their highly talented and motivated team. Their FearFree certified staff treat small animals, primarily dogs and cats, but they would welcome and support any doctor with other interests – this also includes investing in the relevant equipment. As a practice who pride themselves on their FearFree methods, and value client relationships, appointments are seen in 30-minute slots so that no one needs to feel rushed, and everyone has the time to ask and answer questions as needed. The award-winning, five year-new facility was designed by one of the top veterinary clinic architects in the country. All but two exam rooms have windows which provide a light and bright atmosphere. In addition, the clinic is nestled inside a large, planned community surrounded by parks. Inside, the clinic is extremely well-equipped with digital x-ray, digital dental x-ray, ultrasound, Heska inhouse labs, Ezy-vet medical records, electrocautery surgical equipment, Piezo and much more. The hospital receives a lot of referrals for ultrasound, echocardiograms, physical therapy and Synovetin injections. The hospital prioritizes communication, fostering daily staff huddles where each individual is empowered to contribute and share their thoughts. Scheduling can be flexible, and your work/life balance is well-respected, with no weekends or on call, and a priority put on everyone being out the door by 5:30pm at the latest.
