Introduction
Our client is a practice seeking an Urgent Care Veterinarian to join their veterinary team providing care for small animals. The practice focuses on compassionate veterinary medicine and exceptional client service, supporting pets at every stage of life from puppies and kittens to senior companions. This opportunity is suited to an experienced veterinarian who is passionate about delivering high-quality patient care in a collaborative environment.
Working Hours / Rota
The role offers full-time or part-time flexibility. The practice operates Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The Urgent Care Veterinarian will provide clinical care for urgent and routine cases while supporting the practice’s focus on preventative care and early detection. Responsibilities include diagnosing and treating medical conditions, performing surgical and dental procedures where required, conducting consultations, and communicating clearly with clients regarding treatment and wellness plans. The role also involves collaborating with the wider veterinary team while maintaining strong client relationships and delivering high standards of patient care. This position is open to experienced veterinarians.
Practice Details
The practice provides a wide range of veterinary services including reproductive services, surgery, dental care, wellness care, vaccinations, in-house diagnostics, in-home appointments, telemedicine consultations, and senior pet care. The hospital focuses on a patient-centered approach that emphasizes preventative medicine, individualized care plans, and maintaining strong relationships between veterinarians, clients, and their pets.
Team
The wider veterinary network includes 9 DVMs across the 5 sites, supported by an experienced and collaborative support team.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
