Job Description

Introduction
Our client is an AAHA-accredited, state-of-the-art animal hospital seeking an Experienced Urgent Care Veterinarian. This full-service veterinary clinic treats both emergency cases and less urgent medical, surgical, and dental issues. The hospital is dedicated to providing gold-standard care in a fast-paced and supportive environment, with no overnight or on-call responsibilities. The hospital sees small animal species and has a loyal client base that values high-quality care.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday through Thursday from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM, Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Saturday from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM, and is closed on Sundays. The ideal schedule for this full-time position would be four weekdays with rotating Saturdays, although specific doctor hours are open to discussion. The position is available on a full-time basis. There are no overnight or on-call duties.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The role involves full general practice responsibilities with a focus on urgent care. The environment is fast-paced, offering complex and challenging cases. Clinical responsibilities include medical, surgical, and dental care, with the support of highly trained staff and access to boarded specialists via doctor-to-doctor consultations. This role is open to experienced veterinarians only.

Practice Details
The hospital is AAHA certified and equipped with the latest technology. It offers full-service veterinary care including emergency medicine, wellness care, surgery, dentistry, and internal medicine. The facilities are state-of-the-art, ensuring the team is well supported in delivering high standards of care.

Team
The hospital has four DVMs supported by a highly trained and fully leveraged support staff. The environment is collaborative, ensuring veterinarians never practice alone.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
