Introduction
Our client is a small animal hospital seeking an Urgent Care Veterinarian to join their team, providing care for cats and dogs in a high-quality, AAHA-accredited clinical environment.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The Urgent Care Veterinarian will focus on delivering high-quality, comprehensive medical care, managing urgent and emergency cases alongside routine diagnostics and treatment. Daily responsibilities include performing examinations, diagnosing conditions, developing and implementing treatment plans, and communicating effectively with clients to support informed decision-making. The role involves managing complex cases using advanced diagnostic tools, collaborating with a skilled paraprofessional team, and contributing to a positive and supportive hospital culture. This position is suited to an experienced veterinarian who is confident in handling urgent care cases and committed to delivering exceptional patient care.
Practice Details
The hospital is an AAHA-accredited small animal practice recognized for its commitment to high standards across surgery, patient care, emergency services, and diagnostic imaging. It offers a full range of services including wellness and preventive care, advanced diagnostics, surgical procedures, and urgent and emergency care. The facility is equipped to support comprehensive case management, enabling veterinarians to deliver high-quality medicine efficiently. The practice operates Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Saturday from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM, and is closed on Sundays. The culture emphasizes compassionate care, professional growth, and collaboration within a supportive network.
Team
The team consists of 9 DVMs supported by a great tenured support staff, fostering a collaborative and team-oriented environment.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
