An exciting new urgent care hospital is opening in Port Orchard, Washington, and is seeking a dedicated Urgent Care Veterinarian to join the team. This modern facility bridges the gap between general practice and emergency medicine by providing same-day care for non-life-threatening conditions, such as wound management, vomiting and diarrhea, health certificates, and vaccines. With a strong focus on patient care, team wellness, and community connection, this role offers an opportunity to practice meaningful medicine in a supportive environment.

Working Hours / Rota
This is a full-time position with no early mornings, late nights, or overnight shifts. The schedule is designed to provide a sustainable work-life balance while maintaining excellent availability for clients seeking urgent care services.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Urgent Care Veterinarian will provide high-quality, timely treatment for canine and feline patients with acute needs that do not require full emergency hospitalization. Responsibilities include diagnosing and managing urgent cases, performing minor procedures, educating clients, and ensuring every visit reflects the hospital’s values of respect, integrity, learning, fun, and exceptional service. You will work closely with a skilled team, focusing on collaboration and efficiency to deliver outstanding care.

Practice Details
This hospital is fully equipped with digital x-ray, in-house IDEXX laboratory equipment, and a cloud-based EMR system to support rapid diagnostics and efficient workflows. The facility is designed to accommodate both scheduled appointments and walk-ins, providing flexibility for patients and their owners. Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
