Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a hospital that treats cats and dogs and is currently hiring for an Urgent Care Veterinarian.

Working Hours / Rota
The position is part time, swing or second shift, with a flexible schedule.

Role Description and Responsibilities
This role includes full general practice responsibilities. Single-doctor shifts offer care for common urgent cases, including wound management, ear infections, vomiting and diarrhea, and euthanasia.

Practice Details
The hospital operates as a brand new and modern facility with separate dog and cat exam rooms. It is a Fear Free certified, Cat Friendly Practice, and eco-friendly. The clinic is paperless and designed to deliver efficient care, equipped with a cloud-based EMR system, digital x-ray, ultrasound, and a full suite of IDEXX in-house lab equipment.

Team
The hospital is supported by a strong technical team and support staff.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
