Introduction
Our client is an urgent care veterinary hospital in Peachtree City, GA seeking a part-time Urgent Care Veterinarian. The hospital bridges the gap between daytime general practice and overnight emergency care by providing after-hours treatment for dogs and cats. This role offers a highly collaborative environment with mentorship available for new graduates and opportunities for experienced veterinarians to thrive in a modern urgent care setting.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday to Friday from 3:00pm to 11:00pm, Saturday and Sunday from 10:00am to 8:00pm, and 12:00pm to 8:00pm on all holidays. Flexible scheduling is available, with part-time hours to be discussed.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Veterinarian will manage urgent cases such as wound management, vomiting, diarrhea, ear infections, and euthanasia, while delivering high-quality, efficient care. Responsibilities include performing examinations, diagnostics, and treatments, maintaining accurate medical records, and supporting the growth of support staff. Doctors are expected to promote the human-animal bond through compassionate client communication and manage multiple patients effectively during same-day and after-hours shifts. The role is open to new graduates seeking mentorship as well as experienced veterinarians looking for a fast-paced, focused caseload.

The hospital is Fear Free certified and designed to minimize stress for patients, with separate exam rooms for cats, small dogs, and large dogs. Facilities include digital radiography, a full IDEXX in-house laboratory, cloud-based EMR, and advanced diagnostic tools. The hospital culture is supportive, highly collaborative, and focused on efficient, high-quality urgent care. The clinic provides convenient and affordable veterinary services every day of the year, with both walk-in and online check-in availability.

Team
The hospital is staffed by one veterinarian per shift, supported by a dedicated, trained paraprofessional team. The environment is collaborative, mentoring-focused, and well-suited for veterinarians who thrive in a team-oriented urgent care model.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
