Our client is a hospital seeking an Urgent Care Veterinarian to join their team, providing care for small animals. The hospital focuses on delivering high-quality urgent care, including medical, surgical, and diagnostic services for non-life-threatening emergencies, within a compassionate and community-focused environment. This role is suited to an experienced veterinarian looking to work in a fast-paced urgent care setting.

Working Hours / Rota
The role offers full-time or part-time flexibility. Hospital hours are Monday to Friday from 12:00 PM to 10:00 PM, and Saturday to Sunday from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM, supporting after-hours and weekend urgent care coverage.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Urgent Care Veterinarian will provide immediate and same-day care for small animal patients, managing a wide range of urgent medical and surgical cases. Responsibilities include diagnosing and treating conditions such as trauma, fractures, respiratory distress, gastrointestinal issues, and allergic reactions, as well as performing procedures including surgery and fracture repair. The role also involves interpreting diagnostic tests such as blood analysis and digital X-rays, prescribing medications, communicating clearly with clients, and maintaining accurate medical records. This position is open to experienced veterinarians.

The hospital is dedicated to urgent care services, offering a clean, well-maintained facility with spacious exam rooms designed for patient comfort. Equipment and capabilities include advanced diagnostics such as blood analysis and digital X-rays, surgical facilities, fracture repair, and on-site medication availability. Services focus on urgent care needs including treatment of injuries, seizures, breathing difficulties, gastrointestinal issues, allergic reactions, and other non-life-threatening emergencies.

Team
The team consists of 3 DVMs and a great tenured support team, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment focused on delivering high-quality urgent care.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
