Job Description

Introduction
Our client is an AAHA-accredited small animal hospital providing comprehensive general practice and urgent care services and is currently hiring a full-time Urgent Care Veterinarian. The role is designed for an experienced veterinarian to support extended evening and weekend urgent care hours within a well-equipped, community-focused clinic.

Working Hours / Rota
This is a full-time position. The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM and Saturday from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM. The role supports urgent care coverage during extended evening and weekend hours. No overnight or on-call requirements are required.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Urgent Care Veterinarian will manage a varied and fast-paced caseload focused on urgent and non-routine presentations. Clinical responsibilities include diagnostics, internal medicine, dentistry, surgery, and urgent care case management. The role involves treating conditions across cardiology, dermatology, gastroenterology, endocrinology, ophthalmology, and feline medicine, as well as working with pocket pets and avian species. This position is intended for an experienced veterinarian.

The hospital is a fully comprehensive veterinary facility offering a wide range of services from wellness and preventative care to advanced diagnostics, dentistry, and surgery. It is AAHA accredited, reflecting a commitment to gold-standard veterinary medicine. The practice is equipped with advanced diagnostic capabilities including ultrasonography and echocardiography and supports high-quality patient care through modern equipment and clinical infrastructure.

Team
The team consists of 4 DVMs supported by a strong and experienced support staff. The environment is collaborative and well-resourced, with a shared focus on delivering high-quality medicine and exceptional client service.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
