Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a well-established urgent care veterinary practice in Mesa, Arizona seeking a part-time Urgent Care Veterinarian. This role offers the opportunity to provide high-quality, compassionate care for canine and feline patients after regular business hours within a modern facility and supportive team environment.

Working Hours / Rota
The clinic is open 365 days a year, operating Monday through Friday from 3 pm to 11 pm, Saturday and Sunday from 10 am to 8 pm, and on holidays from 12 pm to 8 pm. The part-time schedule will be arranged within these hours.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Urgent Care Veterinarian will diagnose and treat non-life-threatening conditions in dogs and cats, including illnesses and minor injuries such as vomiting, diarrhea, skin concerns, respiratory issues, and pain management. Responsibilities include performing diagnostics, developing treatment plans, conducting minor procedures, providing euthanasia and end-of-life care when needed, and supporting clients with clear discharge instructions and follow-up care guidance.

Practice Details and Team
The facility is designed to support fear-free, efficient care with private exam rooms, in-house laboratory services, digital radiography, ultrasound, and cloud-based medical records. The clinic operates on a walk-in and online check-in basis, providing same-day urgent care at a lower cost than emergency hospitals while prioritizing patient comfort and client convenience.

Team Size
The practice has a team of veterinarians supported by trained technicians and client service staff, working in a collaborative and supportive environment focused on patient care.

Candidate Requirements 

  • Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
  • Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
  • Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
