Job Description
Introduction
Our client is a well-established urgent care veterinary practice in Mesa, Arizona seeking a full-time Urgent Care Veterinarian. This role offers the opportunity to provide high-quality, compassionate care for canine and feline patients after regular business hours within a modern, fear-free certified facility supported by a collaborative team.
Working Hours / Rota
The clinic operates 365 days a year, with hours Monday through Friday from 3 pm to 11 pm, Saturday and Sunday from 10 am to 8 pm, and on holidays from 12 pm to 8 pm. The full-time schedule will be arranged within these hours.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The Urgent Care Veterinarian will diagnose and treat non-life-threatening conditions including minor injuries, vomiting, diarrhea, skin and respiratory concerns, and pain management for dogs and cats. Responsibilities include performing diagnostics, developing treatment plans, conducting minor procedures, providing euthanasia and end-of-life care when needed, and ensuring clear communication with pet parents for follow-up care.

The facility is designed for efficient, fear-free care and features private exam rooms, in-house laboratory capabilities, digital radiography, ultrasound, and a cloud-based medical records system. The practice serves as an affordable, same-day care option between primary and emergency care, operating on a walk-in and online check-in model to provide convenient urgent care to the community.
Team Size
The practice has a team of veterinarians supported by trained technicians and client service staff, working within a collaborative environment focused on patient care and client communication.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
