Job Description

Introduction
Our client is an urgent care hospital seeking a full-time Urgent Care Veterinarian to join their team. The hospital focuses on providing accessible, same- and next-day care for dogs and cats in a modern, fast-paced clinical environment.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Urgent Care Veterinarian will be responsible for diagnosing and treating a wide range of non-emergent urgent cases including allergic reactions, vomiting and diarrhea, ear and eye conditions, dermatological issues, wounds, lethargy, respiratory concerns, toxin ingestion, and urinary problems. The role emphasizes strong client communication, efficient case management, and delivering high-quality care within a collaborative team setting. This position is suited for experienced veterinarians and operates on 10-hour shifts.

Practice Details
The hospital operates from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm, seven days a week, offering convenient urgent care services. The facility is newly built with a warm, welcoming design and utilizes advanced technology, efficient workflows, and teletriage services to support patient care. The practice focuses on same- and next-day treatment for common urgent concerns, allowing veterinarians to work efficiently while maintaining a high standard of care in a structured and supportive environment.

Team
Veterinarians are supported by 4–6 dedicated associates per DVM, including team members focused on assisting with medical records, fostering a highly collaborative and well-supported team environment.

Candidate Requirements 

  • Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
  • Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
  • Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
