Introduction
Our client is a full-service veterinary hospital that is hiring for a full-time Urgent Care Veterinarian. The hospital sees cats and dogs and, since 2024, has provided comprehensive veterinary care to pets throughout the local community and beyond. The practice offers a collaborative and fast-paced urgent care environment focused on delivering high-quality patient care and accessible treatment options for urgent and emergency presentations.

Role Description and Responsibilities
This role involves a full scope of Veterinary Urgent Care responsibilities within a busy clinical setting. The successful candidate will manage urgent and emergency presentations while delivering high-quality patient care, diagnostics, stabilization, treatment planning, and client communication across a varied caseload. Specific doctor hours will be discussed. This opportunity is suited to an experienced veterinarian who is confident practicing within an urgent care environment and enjoys working collaboratively alongside a supportive medical team focused on compassionate and efficient patient care.

Practice Details
The hospital operates Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, and Sunday from 10:00am to 11:00pm, Wednesday and Friday from 8:00am to 11:00pm, and Thursday from 10:00am to 8:00pm. Equipment available includes, but is not limited to, digital X-ray technology, supporting efficient diagnostics and patient evaluation within the urgent care setting. Services offered include a full scope of urgent care services that encompasses emergency evaluation, stabilization, hospitalization, and urgent medical treatment for pets. In addition, the hospital also provides laser therapy, pet chiropractic care, and laser surgery, supporting a comprehensive and patient-focused approach to veterinary medicine.

Team
The practice is home to a team of two veterinarians supported by a collaborative and well-structured support staff. The hospital maintains a minimum 2:1 technician-to-doctor ratio, ensuring veterinarians are well supported in delivering high-quality patient care. The collaborative culture across the hospital encourages teamwork, communication, and shared clinical excellence, creating an environment focused on providing seamless and compassionate care to both patients and clients.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
