Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a hospital hiring for an Urgent Care Veterinarian. The clinic treats cats and dogs and is seeking a veterinarian to support its urgent care services.

Role Description and Responsibilities
This role involves the full scope of urgent care responsibilities, managing a varied caseload and providing timely treatment for patients requiring immediate attention. The position offers flexibility with doctor hours, with a preference for doctors with availability for evening and weekend shifts. The opportunity is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.

Practice Details
The hospital currently operates Monday through Thursday from 7 AM to 5 PM, but they are looking to expand these hours to support the newly offered urgent care services. It features state-of-the-art dental and surgical suites, and advanced anesthesia monitoring, supporting the delivery of urgent care and emergency-level services. The practice provides a full scope of urgent care services within a well-equipped clinical environment.

Team
The team consists of 1 DVM supported by a great team of support staff, fostering a collaborative working environment.

Candidate Requirements 

  • Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
  • Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
  • Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
