Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a hospital seeking an Urgent Care Veterinarian to join their team on either a full-time or part-time basis. The hospital sees cats and dogs, with the opportunity to see exotics at the doctor’s discretion, and has earned an outstanding 4.8-star Google rating.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for the full scope of urgent care responsibilities, with doctor hours open to discussion. The position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.

Practice Details
The hospital is open Monday to Friday from 7:30 AM to 8:00 PM, Saturday from 7:30 AM to 2:00 PM, and is closed on Sundays. It is AAHA accredited and is well equipped with digital x-ray, digital dental x-ray, a surgical laser, in-house laboratories, an on-site pharmacy, and much more. The hospital offers the full scope of GP and urgent care services, including wellness, preventative care, internal medicine, soft-tissue surgery, and dentistry.

Team
The practice is home to a team of six DVMs supported by a great team of support staff.

Candidate Requirements 

  • Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
  • Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
  • Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
