Job Description

Introduction
Our client is an urgent care veterinary practice in Henderson, Nevada seeking a part-time Urgent Care Veterinarian. This role offers the opportunity to provide after-hours care for dogs and cats within a modern facility focused on delivering compassionate, affordable treatment as an alternative to traditional emergency veterinary hospitals.

Working Hours / Rota
This is a part-time position with shifts scheduled during after-hours, evenings, weekends, and holidays to support a healthy work-life balance within the urgent care model.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Urgent Care Veterinarian will diagnose and treat non-life-threatening conditions such as mild illnesses and minor injuries in canine and feline patients. Responsibilities include performing diagnostics, developing treatment plans, conducting minor procedures, and providing clear client education while maintaining high standards of patient care.

Practice Details and Team
The facility offers walk-in and online check-in convenience, a fear-free approach, and more affordable care than traditional emergency hospitals. The practice is designed to bridge the gap between primary care and emergency services within a supportive urgent care environment.

Team Size
The role will join a dedicated urgent care team that values collaboration and a patient-focused approach, ensuring clinicians have the support needed to provide efficient, high-quality care.

Candidate Requirements 

  • Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
  • Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
  • Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
