Introduction
Our client is a hospital hiring for an Urgent Care Associate Veterinarian within a full-service small animal practice. This AAHA-accredited hospital is seeking a veterinarian with an interest in urgent care medicine to join a supportive and collaborative team, delivering high-quality care while building meaningful relationships with clients and patients.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital operates Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, Saturday from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM, and is closed on Sundays. This is a full-time position within a structured schedule that supports a consistent workflow and a balanced approach to clinical practice.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Urgent Care Associate Veterinarian will focus on delivering high-quality urgent and general medical care within a small animal setting. Responsibilities include diagnosing and treating medical conditions, performing soft tissue surgical procedures, providing preventative care, and managing urgent and emergency cases as they present. The role involves clear client communication, educating pet owners on treatment plans, and working closely with a collaborative team to ensure excellent patient outcomes. This position is ideal for a veterinarian with a strong interest in urgent care who values teamwork and high standards of medicine.

Practice Details
The hospital is an AAHA-accredited small animal facility committed to maintaining high standards of veterinary care. It offers a comprehensive range of services including urgent care, emergency services, dermatology, diagnostics, wellness care, vaccinations, dental care, surgery, spay and neuter procedures, senior wellness, microchipping, and in-house laboratory services. Surgical capabilities include a variety of soft tissue procedures such as mass removals, foreign body removals, wound repair, and eye surgeries. The clinic supports a high standard of care through access to advanced diagnostics and a collaborative clinical environment focused on continuous learning and development.

Team
The practice includes 3 DVMs supported by a dedicated and collaborative support team. The environment promotes teamwork, mentorship, and professional growth, allowing veterinarians to thrive while delivering high-quality care to a loyal client base.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
