Introduction
An established urgent care hospital in Colorado Springs, Colorado is seeking an Urgent Care Veterinarian to join its growing clinical team. With a strong local reputation for quality and trust, this role offers the rare opportunity to work alongside a founding DVM and help shape the culture, workflows, and clinical standards of a developing urgent care service. This position is well suited to a veterinarian who enjoys case variety, fast-paced medicine, and collaborative decision-making without overnight emergency work.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital operates seven days a week from 10:00am to 8:00pm, with no overnight shifts. Full-time schedules are available, offering consistent daytime and evening urgent care coverage across the week while maintaining predictable hours and a sustainable rota.

Role Description and Responsibilities
As an Urgent Care Veterinarian, you will manage a diverse caseload of time-sensitive medical presentations that fall between general practice and emergency care. This includes triaging urgent cases, performing diagnostics, developing treatment plans, and delivering efficient, compassionate medical care. You will work with a high degree of clinical autonomy while collaborating closely with leadership and support staff to establish workflows, client communication standards, and medical protocols. This role allows you to influence how urgent care is delivered while continuing to develop your clinical skills in a supportive, mentorship-focused environment.

Practice Details
The hospital is purpose-built to support urgent care medicine, equipped with modern diagnostic tools and designed for efficient patient flow. Internal specialty consultation support is readily available, allowing complex cases to benefit from additional expertise when needed. Systems are in place to prioritise patient welfare, clinician efficiency, and a calm, organised working environment during high-demand periods.

You will be joining a small but growing team, currently led by a founding veterinarian, with strong paraprofessional support and access to a wider professional network for collaboration and learning. Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
