Introduction
Our client is a full-service veterinary hospital located in the heart of Brookville, Pennsylvania, currently seeking a full-time Urgent Care Veterinarian. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced clinician who enjoys the pace of urgent care without the burden of overnight shifts. The role offers a flexible and supportive work environment with a strong emphasis on work-life balance.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm, Tuesday and Thursday from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm, Wednesday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Friday from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm, and Saturday from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm. The practice is closed on Sundays. This is a full-time position with flexibility to incorporate a mix of general practice and urgent care cases into your schedule.

Role Description and Responsibilities
This position is best suited for an experienced veterinarian confident in providing urgent care services. Clinical responsibilities include examining patients, diagnosing and treating medical conditions, performing surgeries, dressing wounds, advising clients on treatments and general pet care, operating diagnostic equipment, prescribing medication, and collaborating closely with fellow team members to deliver high-quality, timely care.

Practice Details
The hospital is equipped to provide a broad range of services, including wellness and preventative care, internal medicine, surgical services, anesthesia and patient monitoring, exotic and avian medicine, nutritional counseling, and health screening tests. The facility supports both routine and urgent cases, creating a dynamic and engaging caseload for the clinical team.

Team
The team currently includes 3 DVMs and a dedicated support staff. The practice environment is collaborative, with a strong focus on communication, mentorship, and teamwork. It is well-suited for veterinarians who thrive in a fast-paced, supportive setting and value professional balance alongside clinical impact.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
