Introduction
Our client is a hospital hiring for an Urgent Care Veterinarian. This is a 24-hour specialty and emergency referral hospital providing urgent care services within a collaborative, fast-paced clinical environment. The role is ideal for an experienced veterinarian who enjoys urgent case management without the demands of overnight emergency shifts.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week, year-round. This position is available on a full-time or part-time basis.

Role Description and Responsibilities
This position is open to experienced veterinarians only. Clinical responsibilities focus on urgent care case management, including patient examinations, diagnostics, medical decision-making, client communication, and coordination of care within a specialty and emergency setting. The Urgent Care Veterinarian works closely with an experienced emergency department and board-certified specialists, allowing for collaborative case support and continuity of care.

Practice Details
The hospital is a 24/7 specialty and emergency referral center with a long-standing presence in the community. Facilities include multiple surgical suites, a dedicated imaging room, CT scanner, full in-house clinical laboratory, digital radiology, and a large exam room footprint across a two-building campus. Specialty services offered include surgery, oncology, radiology, ophthalmology, and exotic animal care, all supported by a continuously staffed emergency department. Team
The hospital is supported by 19 DVMs and a great tenured support team, creating a highly collaborative environment with strong nursing support, engaged leadership, and access to board-certified specialists and emergency clinicians around the clock.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
