Introduction
A growing small animal hospital in Aurora, Colorado is seeking an Urgent Care Veterinarian to join its expanding team. With one veterinarian currently in place and increasing community demand, this is a great opportunity to step into a high-impact role within a modern, fast-growing clinic that blends urgent care with a supportive, relationship-focused culture.

Working Hours / Rota
This position follows a fixed schedule of three 10-hour shifts across Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, along with one rotating weekday shift, providing structure and consistency while supporting a strong work-life balance.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Urgent Care Veterinarian will focus on managing a varied and fast-paced caseload of urgent presentations, including medical and surgical cases, while delivering high-quality, compassionate care, performing diagnostics and procedures, and working closely with the support team to ensure efficient case flow and excellent client communication.

This is a small animal GP and urgent care hospital equipped with advanced tools including ultrasound, digital dental radiography, surgical laser, and a large surgical suite, offering a diverse caseload and strong clinical autonomy within a veterinarian-led environment that prioritizes both quality medicine and team wellbeing, with additional earning potential and strong benefits available.

Team
You will work alongside an experienced lead veterinarian and a skilled team of technicians and assistants, contributing to a collaborative and supportive culture while playing a key role in the continued growth of urgent care services within the clinic.

Candidate Requirements 

  • Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
  • Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
  • Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
