Introduction

This established small animal hospital in Salem, Oregon is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join its collaborative team of three veterinarians. Established in 1972, the practice has served the local community for over 50 years, building a loyal client base through compassionate care, progressive medicine, and lasting relationships. This is an excellent opportunity for a veterinarian looking to join a supportive team that values collaboration, clinical excellence, and continued professional development. The hospital is open Monday to Saturday, with Sundays closed.

Role Description and Responsibilities

As an Associate Veterinarian, you’ll provide comprehensive medical and surgical care for companion animals, including wellness examinations, preventative healthcare, diagnostics, dentistry, and soft tissue surgery. You’ll work closely with experienced veterinarians, technicians, and support staff to manage a varied caseload while delivering personalised treatment plans and exceptional client communication. The role also includes contributing to a collaborative team environment, maintaining high clinical standards, and supporting the continued growth of the practice.

This well-established companion animal hospital offers comprehensive medical, surgical, and dental services in a modern, well-equipped facility. The practice features digital radiography, a recently remodelled dental suite, and advanced equipment that enables veterinarians to provide high-quality, progressive patient care. Team

You’ll become part of a welcoming team of three veterinarians supported by experienced technicians and dedicated support staff who work together to deliver exceptional patient care. Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
