Job Description
This hospital is searching for a Director of Emergency Surgery for their South Austin hospital. They are looking for a Veterinary Surgeon or surgical residency-trained Veterinarian to act as an Emergency Surgery Coordinator AND who will be a positive member of the community, will embody the hospital’s core values, and will serve as an example to all staff. Your role as the Director of Emergency Surgery will be to create the surgeon on-call schedule, cover 25-50% of the on-call shifts per month, organize and train emergency veterinarians in surgery with the vision of surgically experienced ER veterinarians sharing the on-call load with the surgeon team.
