Introduction
Our client is a hospital launching a new urgent care veterinary practice and is seeking a DVM Veterinary Partner & Hospital Equity Owner (Urgent Care) to lead and co-build the facility. This is a unique opportunity to take ownership in a brand-new hospital, shaping its clinical standards, culture, and long-term success while delivering high-quality urgent care.

Working Hours / Rota
This is a full-time position with flexible scheduling designed to support work-life balance. Shifts will include evenings and weekends aligned with urgent care operations, with no overnight requirements.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Partner Veterinarian will lead the delivery of urgent, walk-in care, including diagnostics, wellness consultations, vaccinations, minor surgical procedures, dental care, and nutritional counseling. The role includes setting clinical standards, building and mentoring the medical team, and driving a positive hospital culture while maintaining medical autonomy. This position is suited to an experienced veterinarian, with at least three years of experience required.

Practice Details
This is a soon-to-open urgent care hospital designed to provide efficient, high-quality care for non-life-threatening conditions. The facility will be equipped with state-of-the-art equipment and supported by a brand-new purpose-built environment. Services will include urgent care, wellness care, vaccinations, dental procedures, in-house diagnostics, and nutritional counseling. The practice emphasizes clinical autonomy, innovation, and a patient-centered approach, with full operational support provided across HR, marketing, finance, and administration.

Team
The hospital will operate with a small, skilled team of veterinarians and support staff, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment focused on mentorship and high-quality patient care.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
