Introduction
Our client is a hospital serving small animals, with occasional pocket pets and exotics treated, and is hiring a full-time Partner Veterinarian. Serving the City of San Antonio since 1990, this opportunity is ideal for an experienced veterinarian ready to lead an established general practice in the San Antonio, TX area while participating as a co-owner.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The Partner Veterinarian will have the opportunity to help guide the hospital’s direction, build something that reflects their standards and vision, and share in its success. This is a leadership-focused opportunity with real partnership behind it, where the successful candidate will not just practice in the hospital but help shape it and share in its success. The role is suited to an experienced veterinarian, with doctor hours open to discussion.
Practice Details
The hospital is a state-of-the-art, well-equipped facility approximately 5,100 square feet across 0.57 acres. Facilities include a waiting area, five exam rooms, a pharmacy with drive-through window, x-ray room, and surgical suites. There is also a large suite on the second floor which can be used for storage, conference room, offices, or onsite residence. The practice provides a full scope of GP services, including wellness, preventative care, internal medicine, soft-tissue surgery, and dentistry. The hospital has an excellent community reputation with a fantastic long-term clientele and approximately 30,000 registered clients. In 2025, the practice welcomed 570 new clients and completed approximately 12,220 patient visits.

Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
