Introduction
Our client is a modern veterinary hospital seeking a Partner Veterinarian to lead their brand new hospital. This is a unique opportunity to join an expanding group of hospitals while taking ownership of the clinical direction and growth of a purpose-built, modern facility from day one. The position is full-time, although the team is open to discussing different scheduling options. The hospital provides care for cats and dogs.

Role Description and Responsibilities
As the Partner Veterinarian, you will initially work as the sole doctor, taking responsibility for managing your own caseload while also playing a key role in the growth and development of the hospital. The role will involve a combination of consultations, surgery, diagnosing and treating patients, with surgery being an essential part of the position. Alongside your clinical responsibilities, you will have the opportunity to help build the hospital’s client base and establish a successful, thriving practice as it continues to grow. Initially, you can expect to see approximately 6–10 appointments per day, with this increasing over time to around 16–18 appointments as the hospital becomes more established. The hospital is looking for an experienced veterinarian who is confident working independently and managing cases without direct veterinary support. Working hours are flexible and can be discussed, although weekend work is required. The hospital is currently open from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm and operates throughout the weekend, with plans to expand to seven-day opening in the future. Ideally, the schedule would be worked across four days, although three-day schedules and other working patterns will also be considered.

Practice Details
The hospital is open from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm and provides a combination of general practice and urgent care services for cats and dogs. During the week, approximately 75% of the caseload consists of general practice appointments, while weekends see a more even split between general practice and urgent care cases. This is a brand new, modern veterinary hospital designed with advanced technology at its core. The practice makes extensive use of AI and technology to improve efficiency, allowing veterinarians to spend more time focusing on patient care. Facilities include in-house laboratory equipment, digital radiology, and other modern diagnostic equipment.

Team
You will initially be the only veterinarian at the hospital, giving you the opportunity to shape the culture and growth of the practice from the beginning. You will be supported by experienced, registered veterinary technicians, with a planned technician-to-doctor ratio of 2:1, ensuring you have dedicated clinical support while delivering high-quality patient care.
