Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a practice providing veterinary care for dogs and cats in Cainhoy and is seeking an experienced Partner Veterinarian to join the team. The practice is open to both full-time and part-time applicants and offers the opportunity to acquire meaningful equity ownership in an established practice with a loyal client base and room for continued growth.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Partner Veterinarian will combine clinical responsibilities with an active role in the ownership and direction of the practice. Clinical responsibilities include preventive care, dentistry, diagnostics, puppy and kitten care, senior pet care, and surgery, including soft tissue procedures, mass removals, gastrointestinal procedures, foreign body removals, gastropexy, and spays and neuters. The veterinarian will have autonomy over medical decision-making, including diagnostic workups and treatment plans, while also having a voice in equipment, hiring, scheduling, and practice culture. This position is specifically for an experienced veterinarian.

Practice Details
The practice has an established caseload with capacity for continued growth and provides preventive care, surgical care, dentistry, diagnostic care, puppy and kitten care, and senior pet care. The partnership model provides the incoming veterinarian with a meaningful equity stake and participation in the practice’s growth and value. Opening hours are Monday from 8:00 AM to 7:30 PM and Tuesday through Saturday from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM, with the practice closed on Sundays.

Team
The practice has two DVMs and a great tenured support team, including two credentialed technicians and five support staff. The Partner Veterinarian will work alongside the existing team while taking an active role in medical decision-making, hiring, scheduling, and the continued development of the practice culture.
