Introduction
An urgent care veterinary group is seeking an experienced DVM Veterinary Partner & Hospital Equity Owner to lead the launch of a new urgent care practice in Bremerton, Washington. This opportunity is designed for an entrepreneurial veterinarian ready to step into ownership without the financial burden or administrative complexity traditionally associated with building a hospital. The incoming Veterinary Partner will have full clinical autonomy while receiving comprehensive operational support, allowing complete focus on medicine, leadership, and culture-building from day one.

Working Hours / Rota
This is a full-time position with flexible scheduling aligned with urgent care operations. The rota is designed to support work–life balance, with no overnight shifts and scheduling built to be family-friendly and sustainable.

Role Description and Responsibilities
As Veterinary Partner and Medical Director, you will lead the delivery of high-quality urgent care medicine for canine and feline patients presenting with non-life-threatening conditions. Responsibilities include diagnostics, medical decision-making, minor procedures, urgent care consultations, and oversight of clinical standards. You will play a key role in establishing medical protocols, mentoring veterinarians, and shaping the culture and direction of the hospital. This role requires a minimum of three years of clinical experience and a strong interest in leadership, mentorship, and ownership.

Practice Details
The practice will be built collaboratively with the Veterinary Partner and fully funded with no out-of-pocket investment required. The facility will be purpose-designed for urgent care delivery and equipped with modern, state-of-the-art diagnostic and treatment tools. The hospital will focus on walk-in urgent care, preventative services, and efficient case flow, ensuring excellent patient outcomes while maintaining a positive client experience.

Team
You will work with a carefully assembled team of veterinarians, technicians, and support staff in a collaborative environment that values communication, trust, and service. Full operational support is provided across HR, recruiting, finance, marketing, IT, and compliance, enabling you to concentrate on medical leadership and team development rather than administrative burden.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
