This role offers the chance to become a Veterinary Partner and Hospital Equity Owner while helping build a brand-new urgent care hospital focused on accessible, high-quality medicine. Role Description and Responsibilities
As a Veterinary Partner and Medical Director, you will lead the clinical vision, culture, and medical standards of the hospital while practicing urgent care medicine focused on non-life-threatening cases. Responsibilities include managing urgent care caseloads, mentoring veterinarians and support staff, establishing medical protocols, promoting a collaborative hospital culture, and ensuring high standards of patient care and client communication. The role is suited to veterinarians with at least three years of experience who are confident leaders and passionate about building and developing a hospital team. Flexible scheduling with no overnight shifts supports a strong work life balance while allowing leadership responsibilities to be integrated into the role.

Practice Details
The hospital will be purpose-built with a brand-new facility and state-of-the-art equipment designed to support high-quality urgent care medicine. The model is focused on bridging the gap between primary care and emergency services, providing accessible care for urgent but non-life-threatening conditions. Facilities will include advanced diagnostic capabilities, modern surgical and dental suites, in-house laboratory services, and thoughtfully designed clinical spaces. Veterinarians maintain medical autonomy while receiving dedicated business and operational support across areas including HR, finance, marketing, and talent acquisition.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
