An AAHA-accredited animal hospital in Yuma, Arizona is seeking a full-time Medical Director Veterinarian to lead its three-doctor team. Working Hours / Rota
This is a full-time position based on a consistent weekly schedule. The hospital operates Monday through Saturday from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm and is closed on Sundays. The structure allows for reliable hours and a supportive balance between leadership responsibilities and personal downtime.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Medical Director Veterinarian will oversee medical quality, provide mentorship to associate veterinarians, and ensure consistent delivery of patient-centered care. Key responsibilities include performing medical and surgical procedures, guiding hospital protocols, and promoting a culture of collaboration and excellence. This role is well suited to an experienced veterinarian who values leadership, teamwork, and continuous professional growth while maintaining active engagement in clinical practice.

Team

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
