In addition to their clinical duties, the Medical Director mentors and supports veterinarians, promotes clinical excellence through training and case collaboration, ensures compliance with medical protocols and regulatory standards, drives quality improvement initiatives, and works closely with hospital leadership to enhance patient outcomes, client satisfaction, and overall hospital performance. They are expected to foster a positive, collaborative culture while balancing hands-on clinical work with leadership and strategic oversight.
