Introduction
Our client is a hospital providing care for dogs and cats and is seeking a full-time Medical Director to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced veterinarian with a passion for leadership, mentorship, and high-quality medicine. The practice values collaboration, professional development, and exceptional client care, and would welcome a veterinarian with an interest in exotic pets, although this is not a requirement.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Medical Director will provide clinical leadership while maintaining an active caseload, helping to drive the continued growth and success of the hospital. Working closely with the Practice Manager and leadership team, responsibilities include developing strategies to improve patient and client care, mentoring and supporting fellow veterinarians, fostering a positive hospital culture, and guiding the professional development of the clinical team. The successful candidate will provide preventative care, wellness and sickness examinations, diagnostics, and surgical procedures while promoting high clinical standards and exceptional client service. This position is suited to an experienced veterinarian.

Practice Details
This primary care hospital provides veterinary services for dogs and cats, with several veterinarians also treating pocket pets and other exotic animals. The practice offers personalised preventative healthcare, wellness and sickness examinations, vaccinations, flea, tick, and heartworm prevention, spay and neuter procedures, blood, urine, and faecal testing, dentistry, and diagnostic imaging including X-rays, CT, MRI, and ultrasound. The hospital is recognised for its close-knit team, long-standing staff members, and commitment to delivering high-quality medicine and an outstanding client experience. Hospital hours are Monday and Tuesday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Wednesday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Thursday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and Saturday from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

The hospital is supported by a team of 4 DVMs and a great tenured support team. Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
