Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a veterinary hospital seeking a Medical Director to join their team in a full-time position. The hospital provides care for cats and dogs and is looking for an experienced veterinarian to lead the clinical team while continuing to deliver exceptional patient care.

Role Description and Responsibilities
As Medical Director, you will be responsible for providing excellent patient care by treating and diagnosing patients while performing surgeries and dental procedures. In addition to maintaining your clinical caseload, you will manage and lead the veterinary team, partnering with medical and operations field leaders to drive hospital performance, efficiency, and exceptional standards of care. The hospital is open to discussing scheduling preferences with the successful candidate. This opportunity is suited to an experienced veterinarian with a passion for both leadership and clinical excellence.

Practice Details
The hospital is open Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm and Saturdays from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. They provide a full range of veterinary services including dental care, surgeries, routine care, and check-ups. The practice is well equipped to ensure a high standard of care is upheld for every patient.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
