Our client is a hospital seeking a full-time Medical Director Veterinarian. The hospital provides comprehensive veterinary care for cats and dogs and is looking for an experienced veterinarian to lead the clinical team while maintaining the highest standards of patient care. Role Description and Responsibilities
The Medical Director Veterinarian will lead the clinical team while continuing to provide high-quality medical, surgical, and preventive care for companion animals. Responsibilities include ensuring exceptional patient care and client experience, driving continuous improvement in clinical standards, mentoring and developing the veterinary team, and fostering a supportive and collaborative workplace culture. The role also includes reviewing hospital performance alongside operational leadership, supporting hospital efficiency, and maintaining high standards of medical quality. Clinical responsibilities include performing routine, diagnostic, and advanced procedures such as radiography, ultrasound, dental prophylaxis and extractions, spays and neuters, abdominal exploratory surgery, and mass removals. This position is suited to an experienced veterinarian with a passion for leadership and clinical excellence.

Practice Details
The hospital is equipped with cloud-based practice management and medical records software, digital radiography, dental radiography, IDEXX diagnostics, Butterfly iQ+ handheld ultrasound, Vetology Radiograph Interpretation AI, the VMED Vet-Dop2 Doppler Blood Pressure System, and VETSCAN IMAGYST. Services include routine wellness care, diagnostic imaging, ultrasound, dentistry, dental extractions, prophylaxis, spays and neuters, abdominal exploratory surgery, mass removals, and other complex medical and surgical procedures. The practice provides flexible scheduling, open time off, no on-call responsibilities, and supports continued professional development through paid continuing education and leadership training. Veterinarians are encouraged to practice autonomous medicine while benefiting from the support of experienced medical leadership and a highly trained veterinary support team.

You will work alongside local medical leadership and a team of licensed veterinary technicians and veterinary assistants in a collaborative environment focused on delivering exceptional patient care. Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
