Our client is a veterinary hospital that is hiring for a full-time Medical Director. The hospital sees dogs, cats, birds, fish, reptiles, and pocket pets, offering a highly varied and engaging caseload. Deeply rooted in the local community, the practice provides a collaborative clinical environment focused on delivering high-quality patient care across a wide range of species.

Role Description and Responsibilities
This role involves a full scope of Medical Director responsibilities within a supportive and leadership-focused environment. The successful candidate will support and mentor veterinarians toward achieving medical excellence and enhancing patient care and outcomes through close collaboration with practice managers and hospital leadership. Responsibilities include partnering with the practice manager and leadership team to develop strategies, implement improvements, and guide the hospital toward excellence in both patient and client care while supporting staff development. The hospital also provides access to leadership training resources and mentorship programs designed to further develop leadership skills and support long-term career advancement. Specific doctor hours will be discussed. This opportunity is suited to an experienced veterinarian with a passion for leadership, mentorship, and clinical excellence.

Practice Details
The hospital operates Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 6:00pm and Saturday from 8:00am to 1:00pm. Equipment available includes, but is not limited to, digital dental X-ray and digital X-ray. The practice offers urgent care alongside a full scope of general practice services. In addition, the hospital also provides acupuncture, supporting a comprehensive approach to patient care across a diverse caseload.

Team
The practice is home to a team of four veterinarians supported by experienced credentialed technicians and compassionate support staff. Together, they create a collaborative and supportive clinical environment focused on delivering exceptional veterinary care to both clients and patients.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
