Job Description
Introduction
Our client is a hospital looking to hire a full-time Medical Director. Treating cats and dogs, this is an excellent opportunity for an experienced veterinarian to lead a well-established practice while continuing to provide high-quality patient care.
Role Description and Responsibilities
This role covers the full scope of Medical Director responsibilities, combining clinical leadership with hands-on veterinary medicine. You’ll oversee the medical direction of the hospital while providing preventative, medical, and surgical care for cats and dogs, supporting and mentoring the veterinary team, and maintaining high standards of patient care. This position includes four 10-hour shifts. The role is suited to an experienced veterinarian.
Practice Details
The hospital provides the full scope of GP services, including Urgent Care. It also provides DNA Breed Testing. The practice is equipped with advanced diagnostic equipment including, but not limited to, digital radiology, ultrasound, a Tonopen, and an In House Laboratory. Facilities include an In Office Surgical Suite. The hospital is committed to using fear-free techniques when possible. The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM and Saturday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

You’ll be leading a team of 1 DVM, supported by a passionate and highly experienced team of certified technicians, veterinary assistants, and client service representatives. Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
