This soon-to-open companion animal hospital in Tempe, Arizona is seeking a Lead Veterinarian to establish and lead its founding medical team. Role Description and Responsibilities
As Lead Veterinarian, you’ll divide your time between providing outstanding patient care and leading the clinical team. You’ll perform preventative care, diagnostics, surgery, dentistry, and medical case management while mentoring Associate Veterinarians, establishing clinical standards, and encouraging a culture of continuous learning. Working alongside the Hospital Operations Manager, you’ll also support recruitment, onboarding, and the ongoing development of the hospital, helping to build a positive, high-performing team from the very beginning.

The hospital is currently assembling its founding veterinary team, creating an exciting opportunity to influence both the medical culture and the day-to-day operation of the practice. You’ll work alongside dedicated support staff while mentoring future veterinarians and helping create a collaborative environment where people are encouraged to grow, share knowledge, and provide outstanding care.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
