Introduction
This soon-to-open companion animal hospital in Surprise, Arizona is seeking a Lead Veterinarian to build and lead its founding medical team. This is an opportunity to establish the clinical culture from day one while continuing to practise high-quality medicine in a modern, purpose-built hospital. Role Description and Responsibilities
As Lead Veterinarian, you’ll balance hands-on clinical work with leadership responsibilities, spending most of your time providing exceptional patient care while guiding the development of the veterinary team. You’ll perform preventative care, diagnostics, surgery, dentistry, and medical case management while mentoring Associate Veterinarians, supporting clinical decision-making, and helping establish medical protocols. You’ll also work closely with the Hospital Operations Manager to recruit new team members, foster a collaborative workplace culture, and help ensure the long-term success of the hospital.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
