Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a hospital providing high-level referral and emergency services for cats and dogs and is hiring a full-time Emergency Department Head. Since 2007, they have been a pillar of the South Texas veterinary community, delivering advanced emergency and specialty care.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Emergency Department Head will combine clinical excellence with departmental leadership within a busy emergency and specialty environment. This opportunity is suited to an experienced veterinarian. Doctor hours are open to discussion, with the option for a 3-day per week schedule.

Practice Details
The hospital operates 24/7 within a 19,000-square-foot facility and provides ER and specialty services. The practice is extremely well equipped to support a high-level emergency and referral caseload.

Team
The successful candidate will join a huge team of DVMs across multiple departments within a collaborative specialty environment.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
